Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate agents. Her grandfather come to Greece in 1904, and her mother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki is of Polish ancestry. She graduated Greenwich High School, 1996. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000, obtaining the degree of English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S. Representative) and also as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be a political analyst throughout 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023 she will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel.
